What are knowledge organisers?

A Knowledge Organiser is a single-page document that contains the key facts, vocabulary and concepts children are expected to know by the end of a topic. It identifies the essential knowledge that will be taught, revisited and remembered over time, helping children build a secure foundation for future learning. Knowledge Organisers provide a starting point for each topic, with learning then deepened and extended throughout lessons.
