Year 5 visit Norwich Castle

1st January 2018

Year 5 had an excellent day out at Norwich Castle as part of their history work learning all about Anglo Saxon times. The children took part in many interactive sessions and looked at many fascinating artefacts that really helped to being the historical time period alive.
I enjoyed being with the lady with the metal detector and seeing a real Anglo Saxon woman's body. (Heidi)
It was interesting as we learnt how Anglo Saxons go to the afterlife when they die. (George C)
I like the lady who told stories and allowed us to join in. Also, the goody bags had a shilling in them.
I liked the skeleton because I had never seen a real life one before!  (Alfie)
