Year 4 Castle Museum Trip

2nd February 2017

Year 4 also enjoyed an excellent day at the Castle Museum. They were there to study 'Roman' times. Once again, the activities were enjoyable and interesting.

On our Castle Museum trip we had a really good day. First we made our own ‘torc’ which is a piece of Iceni jewellery. Secondly, we found out what it was like to be in the Roman army. Some of us made a tortoise shell (not a real shell) out of Roman shields. Next, we found out what is
was like to be in an Iceni village. Lastly, we had to identify and group Roman objects. We really enjoyed
learning about the Roman army and making jewellery. A great day!
