Phonics and Reading

At Sprowston Junior School, we aim to develop our pupils into confident, able readers and writers who feel very proud of themselves and enjoy what they can do.

However, sometimes pupils find it difficult to sound out, read and spell tricky words.

You will find useful resources and websites to help you and your child develop your understanding of phonics and reading.
