We use ‘Power of Reading’ as a starting point for literacy planning as it provides rich vocabulary texts covering many genres, we adapt our planning and delivery to the meet the individual needs of learners.

The literacy long term plan document, shows how texts are organised within a year group and the main genres covered.  Theme and literacy coverage, demonstrates how we make appropriate cross curricular links. 

The progression documents illustrate the sequenced learning for all years in reading, writing, spelling, phonics and handwriting.
